
Golaleh Yazdani
Golaleh Yazdani is an interdisciplinary artist and educator based in Chicago, Illinois. Born and raised in Iran, Yazdani holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Art in Tehran, Iran. She received her Master of Fine Arts at Maine College of Art & Design in Portland, ME. In addition, Yazdani completed residencies at ACRE, Byrdcliffe AiR, and Hewnoaks.
She recently finished her fellowship at Lunder Institute in Waterville, Maine.
Yazdani's love for teaching came when she started working as an ed tech at LearningWorks After School program. She quickly rose to the position of lead teacher and then the teaching site coordinator. She has a passion for helping all children to reach their full potential while maintaining their curiosity and love for learning. Currently, Yazdani is working as an assistant after school director at Madonna Mission located in Chicago, Il.
