Fayla Sutton

Director of Programs

Fayla Sutton’s life mission has always been to help people and uplift communities. Thanks to the involvement of her family, she grew up contributing to many volunteer and community initiatives. She attended The University of New England where she studied Psychology and Political Science. Through her studies and field work, she came to understand the importance of helping people meet their basic needs to uplift them and help them succeed. This drive led her to becoming a resident service coordinator at Portland Housing Authority, where she met our founder, Libby Catania. Since then, she has been involved in supporting Our Place peripherally as she has worked for other youth development and affordable housing organizations. She is beyond grateful and excited for the opportunity to grow with Our Place!
