We are a multi-national, multi-cultural, multi-lingual,
multi-generational system of families who share a vision for the success of our vulnerable middle schoolers and for a community in which all can be safe, healthy, and fulfilled.

We have strong “family-like” relationships across family, race, and age. We were founded in 2022 after working with Libby Catania in the setting of a public housing authority in the Kennedy Park community of Portland, ME. In our first year, we launched a (1) Community Summer Camp serving 20 middle school youth and siblings, (2) weekly after-school Youth Mentorship Groups, and (3) 100 hrs of Family Advocacy Services. Most recently, we designed and implemented our 2023 Community Summer Camp for 40 youth and with a STEAM focus: "The Land, The Sea, Maine, and Me."
At the request of youth, we launched a Mentor-in-Training program for 12 middle schoolers who led our summer camp and will lead our fall mentorship groups.
Due to our staff expertise, research-based approach, and authentic and trusting relationship with the community we serve, we are able to enroll children who have behavioral needs and who have been removed from other programs. We are dedicated to full inclusivity and maintaining an unwavering positive regard for families.
